Daily Check-in & Clarity Timer

Understand how the live clarity timer, custom start dates, resets, and each parameter of the multi-step daily check-in form work.

1. Clarity Timer & Custom Start Date

The top of the Home tab features a live Clarity Timer that tracks your current streak down to the day, hour, minute, and second.

Key Timer Operations:

  1. Choose Your Own Starting Date:
    • If your current streak began before you installed Transform, tap the timer area to select your actual start date and time.
  2. Resetting After a Setback:
    • If a slip occurs or you log “Goals not met” during a daily check-in, the timer saves your completed cycle to your history and starts a fresh count;
    • Previous cycles are preserved so you can review your long-term progress in the Statistics tab.
  3. Sharing Milestone Cards:
    • Tap the share button on the Home screen to generate a clean milestone card displaying your current streak and rank.

2. Daily Check-in Parameters Explained

Tapping Check In on the Home tab opens a multi-step guided form designed to help you spot patterns behind your daily state.

Parameter Breakdown:

  1. Daily Goal Status:
    • All goals met: Neither adult content viewing nor self-pleasure occurred today; counts toward your active winning streak.
    • No adult content viewed: Specifically met the goal of avoiding adult media.
    • No self-pleasure: Specifically met the behavioral restraint goal.
    • Goals not met: A setback occurred today; Transform records the data calmly without judgment and helps you review what triggered it.
  2. Urge Intensity:
    • Record how strong cravings felt today, allowing you to see how urge waves rise and subside over time.
  3. Time of Day:
    • Select when urges were strongest: Midnight, Morning, Afternoon, or Evening;
    • Used to generate the High-Risk Time Distribution chart and power Smart Notifications.
  4. Triggers:
    • Tag the specific context or emotion behind the urge (e.g., stress, boredom, staying up late, loneliness, social media);
    • You can create custom trigger tags under Settings → Custom Settings → Add Your Own Trigger.
  5. Mood & Daily State:
    • Log your overall emotional state (Bad / Normal / Good / Great) to correlate mood shifts with urge frequency.
  6. Healthy Habits Built:
    • Check off positive daily habits completed today (such as exercise, reading, early sleep, or outdoor walks).

3. Viewing History & Backfilling Check-ins

If you missed a check-in on a previous day:

  1. Open the calendar view from the Home check-in card, Statistics tab, or Log tab;
  2. Tap any past date on the calendar to inspect that day’s record or submit a missed check-in;
  3. Your total successful days, calendar heatmap, and trigger statistics will recalculate automatically.
