Reflection Journal & Declarations

Learn how to write daily reflection entries, link notes to check-in dates, pin personal declarations, and browse logs by month.

1. Writing Reflection Logs

Writing turns vague emotional tension into clear self-understanding. Tap the Log tab in the bottom navigation bar to write a reflection entry at any time.

Steps & Parameters:

  1. Create a New Entry: Tap the add button to open the journal editor.
  2. Linked Date: Entries default to today’s date, and you can also attach reflections to specific dates.
  3. What to Write:
    • During an urge: Write down what you are feeling right now (“Am I stressed, lonely, or exhausted? What do I actually need?”);
    • After a setback: Review the context and trigger objectively without self-blame, and write one concrete adjustment for next time.

2. Marking an Entry as a “Declaration”

When creating or editing a journal entry, you can toggle the Declaration mark:

  1. What is a Personal Declaration?
    • A declaration is a clear statement written in your own words about why you are changing your habits and the kind of life you are building.
  2. How It Helps:
    • Entries marked as declarations are highlighted in your log and surfaced during the Declaration daily task;
    • Re-reading your own honest commitment during a moment of doubt is far more grounding than generic slogans.

3. Monthly Browsing & Management

  1. Month-by-Month Pagination: Swipe or switch between months on the Log screen to review your journey chronologically.
  2. Edit & Delete: Tap any entry to read, update, or remove it. All journal entries are included in both manual encrypted backups and automatic cloud sync.
